If you are ordering custom car artwork, the reference photo matters. You do not need professional photography, but a clear image can make the customization process much easier.
1. Start with a front three-quarter angle
This angle usually shows the front fascia, side profile and at least one wheel clearly. It gives a useful overall view of the car without flattening its shape.
2. Use good natural light
Very dark garages, strong colored lighting and heavy filters can make it harder to judge the real paint color. A bright outdoor image or evenly lit indoor shot is usually easier to work from.
3. Make sure the entire car is visible
A photo cropped too tightly may hide important details. Leave enough space around the car so the full bumper, wheels, roofline and rear section are visible.
4. Add close-ups for modifications
If the car has aftermarket wheels, a wing, body kit, decals, custom lights or other distinctive modifications, upload extra close-ups. The main photo shows the overall car; detail photos help clarify the specific parts.
5. Avoid heavy motion blur
Rolling shots can look great, but they are not always the easiest reference image. If a motion shot hides the wheels or body lines, include a parked photo as well.
6. Tell us what matters most
A photo cannot always explain which detail is personally important. Add a note if there is something you especially want preserved, simplified or removed.
7. Decide what to do with the license plate
You can keep it as shown, hide it, or replace it with custom text. Giving this instruction up front helps avoid unnecessary revisions later.
Can I upload more than one photo?
Yes. For Torque Toon orders, multiple reference photos are useful when different angles show different details. One strong main photo plus several detail shots is usually a practical combination.
What happens after I upload?
For custom physical products, we prepare the artwork and send a proof before production. Two revision rounds are included so you can review visible details before approving the design.
